Unity Sweater - Free Knitting Pattern
This free sweater pattern was designed in support of the Black Lives Matter movement to express a message of Unity and Solidarity. The pattern comes with a link to a print and online version of the chart and you are encouraged to interchange the color palette or charts in any way you see fit to make something that has the most personal meaning to you. Design on back is the reverse of the image on the front.
This drop-shoulder sweater is knit from the bottom up on straight needles with sleeves worked separately and seamed together.

US4 / 3.5mm needles
US6 / 4mm needles
US4 / 3.5mm 16in / 40cm circular needles for neck
Tapestry needle for seaming and weaving in ends
1x Stitch marker (optional)
Juniper Moon Farm Herriot (or any yarn that achieves gauge outlined below)
Color A: 5 (5, 5, 6, 7) in Buckwheat
Color B: 1 (1, ,1, 1, 1) in Talc
Color C: 1 (1, ,1, 1, 1) in Bullrush
21 sts over 28 rows = 4x4in / 10x10cm in stocking stitch on US6 / 4mm needles
